HISTORY

Under the dependence of the Municipality and the Department of Education of the commune of Puerto Varas, the school "Mirador del Lago" was born as a need to accommodate an important part of the students of the School Group School, which was to enter the regime of Full School Day. Thus, on March 1, 2005 and under Exempt Resolution No. 39 of the same year, the school "Mirador del Lago" opened its doors to receive the vast majority of the school population of the sector called "Puerto Chico" in the upper area of Puerto Varas. From its beginnings, the school captivated the attention of the families of the sector, soon positioning itself as a school of excellence, both for the rapid growth of the school enrollment, as well as for its academic achievements.
