COLEGIO BICENTENARIO FELMER NIKLITSCHEK

HISTORY

The Bicentennial School "Felmer Niklitschek" was founded on October 26, 1953 in the area of Puerto Chico. Its name was taken from the surnames of the couple formed by Mr. Antonio Felmer and Mrs. Regina Niklitschek, two people closely linked to the establishment, because they donated the land to the Congregation so that a school could be built on it for the children and young people. From its beginnings to date, the Felmer Niklitschek School has been supported by an Institutional Educational Project, Catholic confessional guided under the congregational charism of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart. Among them, the school had the great charisma of Sister Maria Oliva and Sister Victorina, who left an unforgettable mark until today. The holder of the Educational Foundation "Laura Leroux" and its current Director is Mrs. Lucy Salazar Dimter. The school has an enrollment of 1420 students, distributed in 32 courses, from Pre Kinder to Fourth Year, offering Professional Technical Education in Administration with the mentions of Logistics and Human Resources, in addition to Humanistic Scientific Education. There are 130 employees, including Directors, Coordinators, Teachers, Support Professionals and Education Assistants, who with a high level of commitment carry out the School's Educational Project.
